Bucerias Plaza is right at the Beach on one side and the other has the beautiful Iglesia a la Señora de la Paz (Our Lady of Peace Church). Locals come together in the small plaza in the center of town or head for the beach for some sun and unfettered mountain and bay views. The most popular local fiestas are the traditional religious festivities for the Peace Virgin (Virgen de la Paz), this is on January 24 each year, that include peregrinations by sea on colorfully decorated boats with various religious motives, fireworks, dance, local Mexican delicacies and many more activities.

Geocaching Mexico, GPS Treasure hunt
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.
That’s one of the reasons geocaching has been catching on. It sends you off on a GPS-enabled treasure hunt, much like the viral smartphone game Pokemon Go, but at the end of the trail is an actual ‘treasure chest’.
Inside is a log, so you can record your discovery, and trinkets such as key chains, toys or souvenirs. The rule is you take one, and leave something behind in exchange. More information and explanation you will find on geocaching.com.mx
